These terms apply to all purchases made at bjaf.com by consumers. By placing an order you accept them. You can save or print this page at any time.
Prices
All prices are shown in EUR including VAT and all other duties. Shipping costs are shown separately and added at checkout before you confirm your order. The total amount payable is always displayed before you place the order.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors and to change prices at any time; the price applicable to your order is the one shown at the time you place it.
Where we advertise a price reduction, the "before" price we compare against is the lowest price we have applied to that product in the 30 days preceding the reduction.
Placing an order
To order, add products to your basket and complete checkout. Before the final step you can review and correct everything you have entered. The order is placed when you activate the button marked "Buy with obligation to pay".
We will send you an order acknowledgement by email immediately. This is a confirmation that we have received your order, not acceptance of it. A binding contract is formed when we confirm dispatch of the goods.
The contract can be concluded in English and Danish. We store your order and it is available to you in your account and in your confirmation emails.
Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at the start of checkout. We do not charge any fee for paying by card.
The amount is reserved on your account when you place your order and is only debited when we dispatch the goods. If you order several items and we ship them separately, we charge for each shipment as it is dispatched.
If you buy a subscription, the terms and the amount per period are shown clearly before you order, and you can cancel at any time from your account.
Delivery
We deliver to the countries listed at checkout. Delivery restrictions are shown before you begin the ordering process.
We dispatch every working day at 16:00. Orders placed before 16:00 on a working day are dispatched the same day; orders placed after that are dispatched the next working day. Estimated delivery times are shown per country at checkout and are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you or a carrier chosen by you takes physical possession of the goods.
If we cannot deliver within 30 days of your order, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.
Right of withdrawal
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal. The full terms, the exceptions that apply to some of our products, and the standard withdrawal form are set out in the Right of withdrawal section below, which forms part of these terms.
You can also cancel at any time during the withdrawal period using the "Withdraw from contract" function available in your account and in your order confirmation email.
Faulty goods
The Danish Sale of Goods Act (købeloven) applies to your purchase. You have 2 years to complain about a defect that was present at the time of delivery. If a defect appears within the first 12 months, it is presumed to have been present at delivery unless we can show otherwise.
You must complain within a reasonable time after discovering the defect. A complaint made within two months is always in time.
If the complaint is justified we will repair, replace, refund or reduce the price, depending on the circumstances, and we will refund your reasonable return shipping costs. Contact support@bjaf.com before returning anything so we can arrange it.
This is a statutory right and is separate from any commercial guarantee we may offer. A commercial guarantee never limits your rights under the Sale of Goods Act.
Product information and use
Our supplements are complementary feed for dogs, not medicines. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent or cure any disease. Follow the feeding instructions on the label. If your dog is ill, pregnant, or on medication, consult your vet before use.
Our grooming products are for external use on dogs only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
We do our best to describe our products accurately, but minor variations in colour, packaging and appearance may occur.

If something goes wrong, email us at support@bjaf.com and we will do our best to sort it out.
If we cannot reach an agreement, you can file a complaint with:

Conditions apply, including that the price of the product is between DKK 1,220 and DKK 100,000. A fee applies.
If you live in an EU country other than Denmark, you can get free guidance from the European Consumer Centre in your country. In Denmark: forbrugereuropa.dk. The Commission's list of approved dispute resolution bodies is at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/dispute-resolution-bodies.
Personal data
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy policy.
Governing law
Danish law applies to your purchase. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live.
Right of withdrawal
Your right to cancel
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
The period runs from the day you, or someone you nominate other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods. If your order is delivered in several separate shipments, the period runs from the day you receive the last item.
How to withdraw
Before the 14 days expire, tell us clearly that you wish to withdraw. You can:
- use the "Withdraw from contract" function in your account or in your order confirmation email, then confirm on the following screen. We will send you a receipt by email straight away, showing the date and time.
- email us at support@bjaf.com, or
- fill in and send us the standard withdrawal form below.
Sending your message before the deadline is enough; it does not have to reach us in time.
Returning the goods
Send the goods back to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you tell us you are withdrawing.

You pay the direct cost of returning the goods. Please include your order number so we can identify your return. We recommend keeping proof of postage.
You are only liable for any reduction in the value of the goods caused by handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning — roughly, the same handling you could expect in a shop.
Your refund
We will refund everything we have received from you, including standard delivery costs, no later than 14 days after we receive your withdrawal notice. If you chose a more expensive delivery option than our cheapest standard one, we refund the cheapest standard rate.
We refund using the same payment method you used, at no cost to you. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have provided proof that you have sent them.
When the right of withdrawal does not apply
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Sealed products that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, where the seal has been broken after delivery. This covers our shampoos, conditioners, sprays, ear and paw care products, and supplements. You are welcome to open the outer box and inspect the product, but once a hygiene seal is broken the item cannot be returned.
- Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
- Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
Unsealed products, grooming tools, brushes, clippers and accessories can be returned as normal.
